Balvenie is matured in traditional oak casks for 14 years, before an added time in ex Caribbean rum casks, imparting an added layer of flavour. Balvenie 14 yo Caribbean Cask is a lovely smooth whisky, with added notes of vanilla and fruit imparted from the rum casking.
